Kate McKinnon barely held it together during this heavenly 'SNL' sketch
The best recurring Saturday Night Live character, without question, is "Kate McKinnon laughing so hard at herself she can't stay in character."
That character returned in last night's episode during a sketch entitled "Near-Death Experience," in which McKinnon, Cecily Strong and host, Brie Larson, play three girls who take a brief trip to heaven. McKinnon's jilted character, though, didn't have the peaceful, beautiful experience the other two did. McKinnon's hilarious descriptions of the out-of-body events had her on the verge of cracking the entire time.
SNL aired a similar sketch in December, starring McKinnon, Strong and host Ryan Gosling. In it, McKinnon played a woman abducted by aliens, causing Gosling to lose it several times.
Larson, though, seemed to hold it together pretty well for someone listening to McKinnon describe her right breast as the soul of a Scottish Terrier.
