Pop singer Zayn Malik has canceled a show in London due to crippling anxiety.
On Saturday night, the former One Direction member tweeted to his fans a heartfelt apology saying he would not be performing at the Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.
"Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me," he wrote.

The Saturday night performance was meant to be Malik's first solo show in the UK since releasing his debut solo album Mind of Me, which included the hit song "Pillowtalk."
Other big names who performed at the concert included Ariana Grande, Little Mix and Mike Posner.
Singer Ellie Goulding came to Malik's support on Twitter, letting the 23-year-old star know he is not alone. Fans also sent thousands of supportive tweets to the star.
In the last week, rumors have been circulating Malik had split from his model girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. The claims have been rubbished by her father and the famous pair were spotted in recent days holding hands in New York.
